Before I came to prison, I lived a very self-centered life and did not take good care of myself. I was focused on all the wrong things and neglected others around me, despite how much I professed my love for them.

“Coming to prison was an eye-opener, but when my mother registered me for this course, it helped me find the normalcy and grounding I sought.”

Coming to prison was an eye-opener, but when my mother registered me for this course, it helped me find the normalcy and grounding I sought. I am told that I have clearly become a completely different person than I used to be. People see it in my attitude, my walk, my speech, my interests, my interactions with others, and my general level of self-respect and self-care.

This course was a blessing to someone who had too much time on their hands and not enough focus in their life. I hope to grow from the courses going forward on my own independent study in between that this course inspired me to start.
